Mijas is in three very different neighbourhoods.- The beautiful little village of Mijas is situated in the mountainside at 428 meters above sea level, is one of the jewels of the Costa del Sol and has been dubbed a place of "Cultural Interest". Visit the parish Church of The Immaculada Concepcion, the Virgen de la Peña Chapel, the small single Bullring and the Museum of Popular Culture.

- La Cala de Mijas is the central point of Mijas Costa and although it has grown and been built up, it still maintains something of its Andalucian village by the sea atmosphere. On the 25th July, La Cala celebrates its own festival and the village is all decked out for a week of festivities.
